I am delighted to have begun my cosmetic dental treatment with Invisalign this week. As a child, I received traditional wired braces for orthodontic treatment. My failure to maintain my alignment by wearing retainers as an adult has resulted in a moderate cross-bite and an increased risk of worsening wear patterns and other dental health problems in the long run. Invisalign seems to be among the greatest applications of digital technology to human health care. I can take my aligners out to eat, eat an apple, then brush and floss normally! Oral health is key to the health of the entire body, and I am optimistic that my investment in Invisalign treatment will provide benefits to my health for decades!
